This service is for those who are in need of a complete home interior design/redesign (typically four rooms or more) and are looking to have full access to an interior designer for an extended period to design, specify and coordinate the implementation of their custom design plan for each room in their home. Services provided are in reference to the agreed upon location contracted for design services. Included in this package are the following:

• Initial in-home design consultation for each room

Full Scale Room Design

This service is for those who are in need of a design/redesign for one room and are looking for an interior designer to take the lead and complete their space. Services provided are in reference to the agreed upon space contracted for design services. Included in this package are the following:

• 90 minute initial in-home design consultation
  
• Custom Floor Plan/Furniture Layout
  
• 25 hours of client specific design time
  
• A written summary of your personal design recommendations and suggestions
  
• Specifications for up to 20 items to include any combination of the following:

Complete Your Space

This service is for those who have mostly completed their space but need assistance in finishing it off. Services provided are in reference to the agreed upon space contracted for design services. Included in this package are the following:

• 60-minute initial design consultation
  
• 10 hours of client specific design time
  
• A written summary of your personal design recommendations and suggestions
  
• Specifications for up to 8 items to include any combination of the following:
  
• Furniture Specifications to include manufacturer, fabric specifications, product dimensions and current pricing.
  
• Accessories, Art and Lighting Recommendations to include manufacturer, product dimensions and current pricing.
  
• Window Treatment Specifications to include fabric selections, treatment style, and current pricing
  
• Up to two additional in-home, one-hour design consultations
  
• Up to two 30-minute phone consultations

e-Design Services

This service is ideal for those who want great style but their budget or location limits them in accessing the full scale services of a professional interior designer. eDesign is perfect fit for those who are comfortable with managing and executing their own design project but seek the advice and expertise of a professional interior designer in pulling their space together. With eDesign Services, you can create a truly custom look without the custom price tag.

As an eDesign client, you are responsible for providing photos, a rough sketch and measurements of your space as well as completing a detailed questionnaire regarding your style preferences, design needs and your vision for the space. Within 3-4 weeks of receipt of your information, you will receive a Personal Design Portfolio with everything you need to execute your design project. It's as easy as that!

If at any point during your project you decide that you'd prefer to move to full scale design services, we will credit the cost of your eDesign Services towards one of the KMD Interiors Design packages.

Material and Finish Selection

Building a custom home requires many choices - cabinetry, hardware, flooring, lighting, electrical, not to mention colors and finishes. The selections you choose can have a huge impact on the aesthetics of your home as well as the overall value of your home in the event of resale.

It is so important to make the right decisions the first time. Having to remove or replace materials after the home has been completed can be very costly and disruptive to your lifestyle. Working with KMD Interiors, you can feel confident knowing the selections you make will be right the first time and will reflect your overall design objective. We can assist with almost any aspect of material and finish selections and be your advocate on-site to ensure your final selections are carried through correctly and to completion in your new home.

A La Carte Services

Basic Consultation
This is service is for those who prefer to do a majority of the design work on their own and just need guidance versus full design services or just need a specific service such as paint color consultation or furniture layout/space planning. This service is provided on an hourly basis. Consultations may be done in-home or over the phone. If you choose to purchase one our design packages, we will credit one hour of your consultation fee.

Project Management
When you’ve hired a contractor and made all the design decisions, but you’ll be out of town for much of the project and you need someone who can communicate your design needs and report back to you, we can assist you. This service is provided on an hourly basis.

Purchasing Services
Furniture, accessories, floor coverings, wall coverings, art, lighting and window treatments can be purchased through KMD Interiors, LLC. We bill purchases on a “cost plus” basis, meaning that our discounted trade-only pricing is the base for an additional mark-up of 25%, which typically a considerable savings for you over retail. Please note some manufacturers have set a minimum retail price and that price will prevail when applicable.

It is important to us that you feel completely comfortable in selecting a designer to assist you with your home. Interior Design is a very personal process and our commitment is to your satisfaction. Since you are the one implementing the design, your final satisfaction is ultimately up to you. We are confident that the design recommendations we provide are a cohesive product and a good design plan.

If you are not happy with your design recommendations, please contact us with a detailed explanation of your concerns within 30 days of receiving your design recommendations.

The first thing we will do is to modify the current design to better meet your expectations based on your explanation and concerns. If you are still not pleased, our final step is to redesign the room for you. We will need for you to submit a new room questionnaire, and provide more details regarding your tastes and likes and dislikes so that our final plan is one that you are satisfied with.

We want you to feel confident in using our services and will do everything we can to keep you as a satisfied client, and therefore we have the above guarantee. Our expectation is that you will be so delighted with your custom design that you will hire us to design other rooms in your home, as well as refer our services to your friends and neighbors.
